The 12th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition came yesterday night to a close. Two young pianists, Hu Ching Yun, 26, from Taiwan (top photo) and Roman Rabinovich, 22, from Israel (bottom photo), shared the second prize. The judges decided there would be no first prize this year. The prestigious competition is held in Israel every three years and draws some of the most talented young pianists aged 18-32 from around the world. I took the photos yesterday (27.3.08) at the Mann Auditorium in Tel-Aviv.
