This is my own original artwork and composition. I titled it "The Gift" because of the German mug in the painting that was given to me as a gift. The plastic skull and the wooden manikin are all tools for the artist like me. I was awarded First Place for this Oil Painting Still Life in 1982 Annual Art competition Sponsored by Art Instruction Schools of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The judges selected this artwork from hundreds of entries received from every state in the union, the provinces of Canada and many foreign countries. This is in my private collection.
