Miles Davis

This is one of my favorite paintings, mainly because of the detail. I spent a lot of time putting finishing touches on this piece. You can see the veins on his hand as he clutches the horn. The veins on his forehead, his puckered cheeks, not to mention his laid back and relaxed pose brings this painting to life, and gives the viewer a glimpse into Miles Davis' smoothness and coolness while performing.

....as if you could hear the murmurs of sound playing. seeing every muscle contract as each note is reached. YOUR SKILL IS AS POWERFUL AS THE SUBJECT MATTER. more for the score, asher.
