Kutch Mutch - The Taste of LOVE

Still dealing with LOVE..Perhaps because for me, is the most important component of LIFE.Love has taste...!!! This work was inspired by well known Love story here, of Pola and David Ben Gurion. Ben Gurion was the " architect " of the state of Israel before Israel was born...and the first Prime minister of Israel also. He loved very much his wife Pola, as She loved and support him. Pola was a nurse, but much more was looking after him and taking care of him. She used to make him a (What they used to call)"KUTCH MUTCH " = a dough of white cheese, sour milk, fruit mash , a bit of raspberry for the taste...For him it was a "kutch mutch " for her, the milk. He didn't like it...but used to eat it twice a day, every day. After Pola died..one day their daughter came to visit her father and saw him eating the "kutch mutch" . She asked him, why he still eats the kutch mutch, after all Pola was not alive anymore...He said ...he ate it in memory of Pola...Well...they were different generation, if you wish to think...but I'll say...They really loved each other...In their memory..FOR BETTER LOVE.................. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ P.S: I really used to make great cooking once, but it was ME, that mostly ate it ...FAST life in the modern times, I guess. DAVID BEN GURION is one of my alltime heroes Nira. I am currently painting a mural portrait of him and have taking several years to collect the sections and pieces for it. He was truly foreordained for the commencement of Precious Israel after the Balfour Declaration. My good friend Pat David just lost her husband who used to be a body gaurd for the first Prime Minister of Israel. I have done sketches of him as well and look forward to visiting the David Ben Gurion University and monuments in his honor. Even the Mossad, America, and the world respected him and his wonderful wife Pola.... thank you for the insight... dear friend* H

Dear sweet Nira.. such a kind heart, romantic heart you have.. I understand. You cook with love for the people you love. But in this day and age, hard to find the time to eat together. {{Hugs}} This is a beautiful creation for a most heartfelt story of love. Excellent & thank you for sharing Metukonet. :o)

Artist Reply: Metukonet...The first comments I read this morning, early before 7 a.m..my kids still in bed sleeping :-)...This story, I meant to post around Valentine's day..simply I could not and didn't wish to post ALL at once.. Anyway, I think love should be as a daily activity..and LOVE, Has a lot of forms. That's what I wanted to say first. Yet..these days, I almost not cook..I'm not really complaining, because I used to not cook now. BUT...When I moved from my parents home ,I asked my mom to teach me to cook..and she used to come, once a week, to teach, I used to write it also. And truly, my first years outside my parents home, I was REALLY Cooking...But the circumstances of my life changed it. Call it TIME, on modern life...but not only. Perhaps my kids, that were and still too difficult with meals...And so nowadays...my mom send take away, that only ME, eats... :-))...Perhaps we are another generation, also...I was a terrible eater as a kid...but my mother, was very difficult...I You don't eat grapes...She made a juice ...I hated that juice, believe me...But had to drink it, like a pure medicine it was to me..so I would set an hour..and almost nothing was really going in :-))...etc. I had to sit until I finished eating, of course I never finished eating..I simply arranged differently the food in the plate :-)) . She manage to educate me to eat, on the long run...although, I truly started to eat well at the age of 16. She was and still amazing cooker, she learned her first classes from my father's mother. But learned so much more during the years. In the last several years by the way, my parents usually work as a team, to cook. Well...here Yarin got up, and so I'm going to give him something to eat. I'll say good night to you..and sweet dreams..It was WONDERFUL to see you this morning visiting me. Hugs, Nira

The story says you must take the sweet and sour in love which comes in many forms.

Artist Reply: This is a GREAT "Musar heskel " = the moral of a story... Steven. I was telling this story to Saar my kid on the car today..and he said to me :-)..why do you think this may be interesting to me ???.... i told him...there's "musar heskel " in this story...First when you'll get married one day, you'll eat all your wife makes :-)...lol..he said..he'll not get married that soon...and second i said to him...you must also eat what your mother making you to eat, because she love you...she know what best for you to eat :-)...you love her...you must eat :-)...Best wishes...THANK YOU !!

Nelly van Nieuwenhuijzen 19 Feb 2008

oh, good that secret anonymous.......agree with her....

Artist Reply: My dearest Nelly...I'm sorry you are with tears...perhaps you felt me too, I'm sad myself..I would like to tell you, and you know it...All I do...I do with my heart. This last week or so, for the perhaps first time in my life, I try to bring expressions of LOVE, in a way I didn't do before. Perhaps try to release your pain in ART...If you can...I know I can't...but there are those who can. Tears usually effects & disturbs my positive energy of creating. Yet... One must know the way to relax his/her mind... and when the tranquil, calm, is taking part...you can get working and you'll get happier feel, at least this is how I am...Write me ALL, that is on your mind, Nellinka. I send my LOVE your way, my dearest friend.
