Love the curvy trees which give an imaginary look to the scene. Wonderful use of color and warmth... greens can be so difficult! Again, your Van Gogh is showing!

Sherry Weisel 08 Feb 2008

Beautiful picture and color

Emily Reed 08 Feb 2008

Amazing and beautiful scenery.

Your own developed van Gogh-ish style is delightful, dear Henry! I agree with Anneke. This would do great as illu in a fairy tail book. The branches/roots are on the ground like little booby traps, but there is that hopeful blue where the leaves and tree is longing for.... Love the deeper feeling of this painting. Love the foreground colours.

This reminds me of a place in the ortega mountains in california where we used to live...called Rancho Carillo! Love this.

Cathy Savels 08 Feb 2008

Excellent use of colours.

Anneke Hut 08 Feb 2008

It's like a fairy tale forest, looks like these trees are having a conversation with each other. I love the colours of the low cover.
