This one was done around 30 yrs ago, and it is one of my very favorites, both the painting itself, and the trip I took with two good friends, to take scenic photos to paint from and with this particular one, to set up and start it right there on the rocks where we could hear the roar of the waterfall.

Artist Reply: Thank you! That one was fun to do, because 2 friends and I had taken a trip to Northern Michigan to paint and take pictures. We set up our easels right on the rocks, and took pictures first, then blocked in our paintings. It was a hot, humid day, but we had a great time.
