Going through my old postcards the other day and came across this one,its a little faded but it sure brings back memories. Back when I was just a young stalk,oh,maybe 200 cycles (human years)ago,I met a really good looking female human,her name was Zelda. I met her playing Grap in a backroom on Horrliss 3,I had a really good hand,I just needed another Blue Shield to have an almost unbeatable run of 17 blue. I was flying,at the table were 2 Youst,a 5 legged Zinc,and 2 humans a male & a female,the credits on the table were piled high,and we were all still in the game. The female human said all in,when counted out it was 4,000,000 credits,well,one by one the others folded,and it was down to me. The thing is was she bluffing,and if not I still had her beat,well hell' you only live once (well they do),I met the bet only by putting in the keys to the flyer. Sooo dealer turns the first of 2 shields ..a red...the old heart is hammering ..last card a .......blue...wooooweeee. I looked over at the female and she was smiling,oh man,she turned her shields.... noooooooooooooooo....17 RED. She had me,i just sat there looking while she raked in the credits,the only thing left were the keys,she picked them up,looked at me,and threw them in my lap,I don't need another boat,she said' come on I'll bye you a drink. Her name was Zelda,she said the Consortium kicked her out of Vegas back on old Earth,she just couldn't loose,just kept winning. Anyway she said she had her own place,she called it Vegas Prime,said it was the best gambling in the galaxy,invited me to stay for awhile. Great place,more aliens and humans than you care to think about,did one hell of a trade. I stayed for maybe 12 cycles,had a grand old time,made some credits,then I headed out,too many worlds,so little time.
