What A Wonderful Older Brother He Is

I have been so busy with drawings. I get anxious to upload them, so I put them up as I get significant work done. This is another commissioned piece, and since I have not been here very much, lately, I wanted to show what I've be up to. This one has the older brother with a cloth over his shoulder ready to burb his baby brother, and holding a bottle, feeding him, beforehand. I hope you come back to see them when they are done. There is one that's done from 8/09/2007 called Father and Sons.

Superbly created pencil artwork. :)

any other time those sharp shadow lines would detract from the realism and yet the way you apply them it manages to do just the opposite. they end up looking like photos taken with a flash that's given the pic those harsh shadow lines. wonderful affect and great job.

Artist Reply: Sheila, you're exactly right, and the picture I referred to was just as you described. Actually I thought at one point to omit it. Glad it looks okay to you. Thank you!!

I LOVE this little guy! I especially love the super dark lines that show up around his ear, eyes , the edge of the burper. And I'm lovin' the eyebrows! Nice work as always Carliss!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Rohdy, and thanks for looking!! :)))
