I like how you captured; how it teares you apart, leaveing you torn, and tatterd... Atempting to re configure never to be the same again... loosing parts of eachother, to the other forever in a bloody separation.... I am grateful to have my abilitie to express that s!*%... on paper, I dont know what I would do without it... Good Job!...
Charles, for some reason, I can see this abstract taking the shape of loss of marriage and loss of daily communion with you child as I have had that taken from me more then once. I could never understand why the courts could not or would not investigate the happiness in the household of the custodial parent and the actions and habits. I was never questioned or looked into about my habits which happened to be so much more dedicated to the girls then the mothers. I won't go on, but the image is so clearly an image that personifies the action and image of loss. Michael
I had to think about Jeroen Bosch a painter of the dark middle ages in the Netherlands.Good work!
Artist Reply: I know Bosch's work very well Annette. I was thinking of him when I was doing this but, now that you mention it I see what you are saying although I couldn't ever lay claim to his level of accomplishment.
