Photos taken this evening, just after mild rain. I was almost in my way out to take my kids one to orthodontist..and the other to "Dragons & Labyrinth " usual weekly activity ...Someone was knocking at my door..."Who's there ?" I asked...And a voice answered :"coming to take your "ERKOT HAGANA" (A.B.C. Set) thats how we we call it here.Well I forgot all about it,and had to go out, that exact minute...SO..Later I had to search them...2 minutes away from my home.I asked their permission to take shots of these boxes...and the girl wanted I'll take her shots ;-)...The bottom photo will show you the inside of these boxes.And...All these A.B.C Sets are being collected from all the population to refresh them, probably we shall get new ones...Although I truly hope that not...and will never have to use them again. For the purpose of sharing only.Love & Peace for BEST DAYS,Thanks for viewing and commenting.

Nira: Love and peace to you and yours. "joey"John Fish 13 Nov 2007
Very powerful. Good composition with the piled up boxes and dark back ground surrounding the figures. The zoomed in picture makes a terrific photo as well.Izabella Pavlushko 13 Nov 2007

What an interesting top shot, so sweet and the second, a reminder of man's inhumanity to one another. Great images and prayers for all you love and especially for your family, Dear Nira. MichaelJoanna Jungjohann 12 Nov 2007

Wow!!!..How terrible is man's inhumanity to man...that this is a necessary item in your life. ....Humans think they are so far above the other animals on this planet..and yet there are those that create situations where things like this are needed....so sad...jamie winter 11 Nov 2007
so scary i hope they are never needed. may you be safe and peace comeJoke Schotting 11 Nov 2007

impressed and thoughts are running.......Steven Torrisi 11 Nov 2007
Before I scrolled down to the bottom photo I suspected thats what they were because the top picture by the look of the handles on the boxes look like the mask boxes English school kids carried during the Blitz, only they were alot smaller. I too hope you never have to use them but at least your government provides free realistic protection; here in the US they tell us to go buy plastic sheets and duct tape, or during the Cold War as I was still of age to remember doing the duck and cover (under the desk or in the hallway) drills in elementary school, in case the Soviets attacked, like that would help. Be well Nira.Charlotte Ottilo 11 Nov 2007
Oh Nira what a terrible way to have to live..I'm sooo sorry and it is such a sad commentary to one's way of life. I pray you and your children as well as your Country never ever ever have to use them again!
