Winter is coming and while I'm in Texas where there's no snow usually, this season makes me think of the North. This is Boston, Arnold Arboretum botanical garden, where I was once overwhelmed by the effect of light reflecting from an ice field. 36"x24" acylic on canvas 2002

every once in awhile you stumble on a truely great artist not a mimic, copier,photo reproducer but someone with clear vision of what art really is suppose to be... from the soul, from the heart, a personal impression of what is.
