Labyrinth #2

I modified my last Labyrinth sculpture (of 5 made) to be more like a japanese puzzle box in appearance. This sculpture is composed of 42 interlocking metal pieces made from five different metals; bronze, brass, copper, aluminum and stainless steel. The Labyrinth is a 5 inch metal cube; when the top is removed it has a storage space inside of 26 cubic inches. The sculpture weighs about 30 pounds. There are 23 sliding panel moves before you can remove the top. I've provided a special key to pull up the hidden handle for the top. After the top has been removed the sculpture can be disassembled into 42 separate pieces. Yoho!
