In Shadow

An older pastel that I have finally managed to get a good photo of having made a light-box to do it. This chalk pastel and has occasional speckling from the white pastel--the white dots are the result of this.

what a beautiful effect - I love faces half in the shadow but thats because I then dont have to draw/paint the whole face hmmmm, I'm afraid of the whole picture LOL
