Waiting on the Parade

©Seth F.Weaver,Sr. 1972. 11x15" linoleum cut print. This is one my wife's favorite prints (and mine too.). The visual tale of a street person isolated from humanity for reasons he can't understands. Waits patiently for a holiday parade so he can once again feel apart of the world. Seeing people happy and joyous with holiday spirit and still remaining invisible to them all. Thanks for looking Seth.

great portrait/well done--you have a history of fine artistic achievements.

Artist Reply: I really appreciate this great comment Joe. I do art as a response to life, if I stop doing it for a while it messes me up mentally and spiritually.

What strucks me most is the way you have rendered the mood of the man! Even without your description I would have thought the same. You are really good with this medium, Seth.
