Non Ninja Turtle

I was 4x4ing in not too deep forest until the explorer would go no more (mud to the rims) So Bogie and I got out and walked! Good thing too! this little Box turtle was in a clear puddle in a track of the now nearly invisible road only a few yards ahead of the monster mudder' (better to throw mud bananas with my dear!) tires. After photographing her, we hiked her a few miles back before releasing her away from the 4x4 trail.............. This was Shot last summer with Sony H2, due to a slightly out of focus image, I sharpened then plastic wrapped it with a "Adobe 5.0 Elements" filter Plastic Wrap treatment, and other enhancements.I could not decide if it was presentable for public veiwing, but told Bogie , what the h*** I'm posting it.

ur filters made it's shell more harder and clearer and much more ..... Greg, it's a beautiful shot !!

Artist Reply: Hmmm' in this case I agree that the filters enhanced the original photograph! Sometimes the result is less than stellar! : }>

Thank you for respecting animals !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and its a grand shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Artist Reply: I shouldn't admit this but I like most animals better that some people ! I am not a PETA person , but love my furry friends, because most of the domestic ones give unconditional love. BTW, your observations are very kind thanks …

brilliant markings on her, very lovely catch, peace jo

Artist Reply: I think one of the most attractive things about reptiles are the colors and markings, thanks Joanna for your words !
