they always shrink when it's cold

I took this shot in February when Hartsholme lake was frozen over,I'd been watching the Canada geese trying to land (with some rather funny results)when i saw this little chap who seemed to be looking for something, I used my canon 10d with my Sigma 75-300mm @300mm F5.6 .
