In the small mountain towns of southwest Virginia, yard sales are fairly commonplace. The very devoted hunters start early and most likely finish late; playing with a Zen-like concentration and wearing out all the weary family and friends brought along for the "fun". The "Bargain Hunter" is on a covered panel 20" x 18" and will be part of a show at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lynchburg, Va.
