I was surprised to find palms on a piece of a white paper on a table at my studio, the other day...Probably my father forgot them there...AND..I thought to myself he surely put them there, for my inspiration.I was born with a DABUSH Family name (my father's roots ).Dabush means Palms honey, its Hebrew word although most people here in Israel don't know this word.We use the word Dvash as the Hebrew word for honey ,made of Bees. Most people here eat of -course the usual Dvash of Bees including myself.THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS.Copyrights to myself.

..ah yes, the sweet fruit of the date.. how Marvelous! And 'Date Honey', I can only image how sweet it is to taste. I had no idea honey was made from dates. Your write-up is very informative and you & your name are very well suited, both so sweet, yes?! :) I adore dates, my Mom often makes date squares for us to eat, and we enjoy them, yumm! These are very artist shots of the palm with it's dates.. I really love the shadows.. Excellent write-up and photographs. :o)Anonymous Guest 19 Oct 2007

As I am viewing and reading this I just happen to be spooning some Dvash on my morning oatmeal. Beautiful shot, a mediterranean cafe is where I can see this hanging. The golden and dark colors of the metal against the lace table cloth set this piece off.Anonymous Guest 19 Oct 2007
Great shot!
