Connecting The Dots

A game of 'connect the dots' has gone terribly wrong. :) I used gel pen and gel color pencil. Image area is roughly 7 1/2 by 8 1/4 inches. Original Jones Art beamed to you from Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Yes, Herr Anon, I think we can both agree that this piece is mobility challenged. Maybe the wheel is motorized?

Would look also wonderful as a sculpture!

Artist Reply: I've always had a 'hankering' to do things in 3-D, Bruce, but time and finances have hampered me. I've done a few clay and papier mache pieces that I thoroughly enjoyed producing though. Thanks for the great comment. :)

Your works make me think of surrealism, Edward Gorey, M C Escher, and art nouveau.

Artist Reply: Helen, that's some mix of artists and genres, though I DO appreciate all of the ones you mentioned. :) Thanks!!

great technique. Very expressive.

Artist Reply: Thanks for the great comment, Jeanie! I apologize for the late reply. I was in an 80-hr a week job at the time but that's changed. Hope you are doing well and are keeping that creative spirit alive and flourishing. :)
