Glass Beaded Cross Fantasy

I love to use reflective items to give me ideas for many of my manipulated and some digital painted works. Studying them helps me to use them better and to come up with new ideas to create. This is a composition that started with some of my beads. From there it lead to a series of designs, this is one of the results. I like to several works that can be put together in the same colors or mixed and matched for a more colorful variety. Either way, groupings of these look fantastic together. I think I'm still showing my love of quilts with this as well as kaleidoscopes, mandalas, and best of all, my crosses. This one I wanted the center to glow with warmth, as it reflects the love that in my faith was given to me and myself. For those not of my faith, it serves to add to the work as a whole. Enjoy!

looks so beautiful!

Artist Reply: Thanks Indarto! I will be adding some new ones this week. I love working on these. They really pop off the canvas as well.

Excellent design work Terry!

Artist Reply: Thank you Mark! I will be working on more soon as I finish some more portrait commissions. Been getting flooded with commissions of late. Not that that's a bad thing. I stocked up with some unusaual materials to work with and can't wait.

Awesome work Terry

Artist Reply: Thank you Andrew! I have so much to do of late, and not so much for art. Trying to get all the chores done, and more time for the art. Will be calmer here soon, and much more art to come.

Bending and blending bubbles!

Artist Reply: Thanks Stanley! I collect reflective materials because they give me ideas on designs. Some I paint, as a subject, some I just use, sometimes it's a mix of both. Regardless, the end results are fun to finish. Get's a bit tricky, but worth the hassle.

Really spectacular!

Artist Reply: Thanks Emily! I am finding these easier to do than figuring out how to do fractals. LOL! I'm slow to learn what to do with those, but thinking up ways to use some in my designs. Will figure those out eventually.

wonderful work Terry!

Artist Reply: Thanks Annette! Working on some companion works so that I can have a grouping to display. I also like to group them in mix colors so that it gives a quilt like design.
