16x20 Painted for a book of Photos on Maine, This is Jordan Pond. The small mountains in the back are known as the bubbles. I used the photo for the outline of the landscape, but added the Mother and Daughter enjoying the Autumn splender,and the fallen tree.

Nicely done... the foreground has wonderful texture. The background might be improved by softer edges where the hills meet the beautiful sky. And the two adjoining hills would be more interesting if they were different sizes and shapes. Great palette!Fiona Hooper 01 Oct 2007
