Seashore

Fabulous encaustic beeswax abstract art. shimmering colours melt into a vibrant image of a beach seashore scene. It feels soft and isolated - a very calming painting. Its unframed and ready to hang, and has a gentle soft sheen which just needs an occasional burnish with a soft duster to preserve it. As its pure beeswax and dammar crystals it has a wonderful smell reminiscent of high summer and buzzing bees among a myriad of flowers. Encaustic paintings, like all fine artwork should never be hung in direct sunlight. For those people worried about melting, wax melts at 130. in the words of a famous American encaustic artist.. If my art is melting in your home you have a bigger problem, your house is on fire... Frame: Framing not necessary but may be framed if require

Powerful colors and expression!

Artist Reply: Thanks you all, this was my first full encaustic piece and achieved by applying lots of thick colours and carefully melting areas to blend then scraping into the work to add some texture. Oh and there's some interference acrylic paint rubbed in to it too....
