Garden of Tears

This abstract has many colors and textures. There is an array of imagery. What do you see? Among many perceptions, I saw the profile of an ancient figure on the left with elaborate headdress and feathers. Next to him on the right, I perceive an emerald jewel on the face of a man. In this mysterious garden, tears are jewels. If you look closely, you may see spirits in bright yellow that contrast with his golden face. An ancient tribe lives in the Garden of Tears also referred to as Tears of the Le'igro, a science-fantasy book in progress authored by Timothy Goodwin, a published author of the brilliant sci-fi thriller Pariah. I love the genre of science fantasy and am drawn to his prose reminisant of psychological thrillers that I have enjoyed since I was very young. Wizards, dragons, and dark forces have fascinated me as a Psychologist and avid reader of imaginative literature dealing with the universal theme of good and evil. The Le’igro is dying… The miraculous and enchanted Garden of Life that has seen to the vitality and protection of the surrounding lands since the dawn of time has been poisoned. Now the people of Calidashiri face sickness and death. The weather soon threatens crops and life, and the dead rise, even as darkness falls. Cities crumble under the onslaught of sorcerers, dragons, and devils. The only possibility of salvation for the Le’igro lies in the one that breathed life into her at the beginning of time. Once a god of goodness and beauty, now after thousands of years he has become embittered with the way of the gods; he resides now as a lord of chaos in an underworld known as Infernos; a realm of flames, shadows, and demons. In order to save the Le’igro, an Elite Task Force of humans, Li’reigh, Elves—fighters and mages, must journey into the realm of Infernos to offer an appeal--against all hope, and somehow retrieve the tears from the Lord of Darkness. I am most intrigued with the character of the magical wizard, Sebastian Khol'shar who has to summon up all his strength and determination to battle the evil dragons that roar and breathe fiery lava to destroy the magical powers of the wizard and render his staff of Imperios powerless. The enchanted Garden of life is dying and the people of Calidashiri face destruction as they succumb to sickness and death. The Elite force must find and rescue the embittered wizard who now resides in the dark shadows of the underworld. Time is running out, hope is rapidly fading, and a race of people is held in the balance between good and evil. Timothy Goodwin is a member of Artwanted. He is a wonderful writer and artist. The fate of the enchanted garden and the people of Calidashiri will be reflected in more of my otherworldy and painterly photographs to support and encourage the"Elite force" in everyone's life to win the battle of good and evil, especially in our world that also faces dark shadows of truth with time running out.....
