HELEN OF TROY SKETCH

This is a mono watercolour sketch I made to see how to plan the drawing in pen. The face that launched a 1000 ships. This story always fascinated me.

Sensual yet subtle beauty whose glancing eyes draws your attention. Your watercolor skills are master.

Artist Reply: I feel she has the most fitting face for launching a 1000 ships. My father was the real master with watercolours. But I am better with pen and ink.
