Renee made me do it! If you've visited my gallery, you would know that mermaids are one of my favs. When I saw wonderful AW artist RENEE LAVOIE had posted yet another of her undersea beauties, I was compelled to do one again(not that mine could compare), but it just reminded me of how fun they are to do! Plus I got to try out a new medium for me, pastels!(had to edit it a bit for AW censors *wink*!)

Hi, Steve! Love the water---cool effects by her splashing! Were you covered in pastel while creating this? Or maybe I'm just the messiest 'chalk' painter out there? This looks great! -Kerra
