The hotel became a favorite of many of the world's wealthiest people, with luxurious suites named for some of its notable patrons from the past. These include Ernest Hemingway, for whom a bar in the hotel was named. The Ritz is also the favorite Paris hotel of Woody Allen. Two years ago we met him at the lobby by chance and as the "Royal Photographer" of my son I took a photo of him and Woody Allen. The photos of the garden were taken on July 26, 2007.
