"Great Grandmother Weaver", acrylic on canvas, 16"x20", (c)12/24/99. This is an old portrait I did of my Great Grandmother Alice Weaver. I first painted a portrait of my Great Grandfather (her husband) for her 90th birthday. (You can view this painting on my site.) She liked the first one so much, she asked that I paint one of her as well. I particularly liked the way this one turned out. She looks very regal, but soft. Grandmother was a very special lady. We miss her very much.
