A Blind Eye

Seems that we are always turning one. ;) Its image area is roughly 7.5 by 7 inches on acid-free paper. I used gel pen and color gel pencil. Original Jones Art going blindly forward in northwest Austin, Texas.

You're right about the style change, but you still have a unique thumbprint of sorts on your work, very cool :D

Artist Reply: It's not so much a stylistic shift as a thematic one, I think. If I possess such a thing as a 'style,' it is directly related to my stubborn refusal to adopt anyone else's, Sara. Too much 'refinement' translates to my contrarian soul as 'homogeneous' or 'generic.' Does this make sense to you?

Poor birdie - he's all worn out for seeing so much! Quite a sad but a very beautiful picture. You've got really great drawing skills, and such a wonderful artistic imagination!
