Bernie

My dear friend Bernie who died a year and a half ago after a long battle with Multiple Myloma - painter, scukpter, violin master, and a very funny guy whose mere presence brightened up any room. I miss him.

I am sad for your loss, our loss, of such a wonderful person. This is a deep photo, by that I mean, much more to it than a normal image of the man. It shows the character of a very intelligent man.

I'm so sorry for you loss Greg. I know what it feels like to lose someone so dear to you to Cancer. It is such an evil disease! I lost my best friend to Ovarian and I miss her terribly! This us a wonderful photo..I too think you've captured his spirit wonderfully.

Greg, What a shame to watch a friend lose the battle to cancer.. They have new cures for MM now. Glad you were able to capture the essence of him in a photo. It is a true gift we have been given. My closest cousin just died of leukemia so my family are planning on doing a leukemia team in training in Jan in his honor.. I will do a half marathon and my son will do a full marathon. I ahve been doing collections of my work in cancer units. We cant change the destination of cancer patients but can make the journey through the treatments better with images like yours and mine.
