Mojave Desert of California. Our first fire here locally. An unexpected storm blew in in with high winds. No rain. They do not know what started this fire. They are not aware of any lightning strikes. Taken 7-5-07
With the combinent heat and sunlight almost any light refraction can result in combustion. A disgarded aluminum can, in just the right place can reflect sunlight onto a cumbustible object. The result can be caused in heat above 110 degrees.
