I hadn't noticed this before and I love it. It really captures a sense of timelessness, infinite wisdom and eternity. I especially like the skull as a reminder that the physical world is passing, fleeting and only one small part of life

Very beautiful and calm piece! I love the colors and the composition. The lack of detail to the face adds to the surroundings and always you to take it in easily. Wonderful Job!!!

Excellent work. I created a similar image more years back than I can remember. A self portrait of me sitting on a mushroom, I was a lot thinner back then. Stunning image with so much detail its a self contained book in a single frame

Exploding light defining enlightenment. What a great written complement you've written to the inspiring piece of art. I love how you've given silence so much power and energy. Spiritual power drives all of nature. This painting inspires me to meditate, pray more. Viewing it in itself is also a meditation. Wonderful.

As I enter the gate to the monastery there is an inscription that says "God Alone", I have always found great solace in those words
