Bryan Jernigan is an Arlington, VA graphic artist and writer, adept at mosaic and collage works. He transforms common items into works of art. His latest endeavor uses the simple forms of tissue paper and watercolor artists paper from which he transforms fragments of color into evocative mosaics that heighten emotions and senses. He uses his knowledge of ancient Grecian mosaic artists and his love of the Impressionists and Expressionists combined with colors from the Fauvist movement to create new, modern interpretations with papers. Jernigan is a member of the Arlington Artists Alliance and the Del Ray Artisans of Alexandria, Virginia.
