Morning Has Broken

Inspired by the song "Morning Has Broken," this picture is a memorial to my late mother. The symbols of the trillium, the dew, the chipmunk as it reaches for a life-renewing drink in the light and presence of the Lord...there is much interdependence and an eternal circle to this dance of faith and life. Hope you enjoy this peace/piece!!! Original: 12"x14"

You certainly know how to use your pencils, you are SO talented with them, all your work is stunning. What kind of pencils do you use if you don't mind me asking? I use Berol Karisma pencils, they are really soft and easy to work with. The drops of water on the leaves are so realistic, I don't think I've ever seen such realism with coloured pencils, amazing work:)

Artist Reply: Thanks again, Joanne! Good luck with your pencil search!
