Very timless piece here. Emotionally torn is where it leaves me - is she strong and leaving, or is she angry and waiting. I love the message either way I love the way it makes me feel.

Artist Reply: I love the way you respond to this piece. I'm glad that it makes you feel something, that's always the intention...sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Is that Union Station in LA? It sure looks like it since a lot of films were shot there. Marlene Dietrich and all the sublte stars tucked into the background with the jazz horns in the background and black ink dabs give it a film noir touch.

Artist Reply: Wish I knew, Steve. It could be any number of old train stations. They tore an old beauty down in Oakland, CA that looked very much like this.

This is really cool! I love the nostalgia as Joanna says...makes me feel like I'm right there in that time and place with her!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Laurie. I was feeling that way when working on it.
