Artist Reply: Many thanks John; this is one of the smaller silk paintings, my scanner isn't large enough to take the others: I am a little disappointed by the colour reproduction, the background in the original is a much softer blue leaning somewhat to a purple tint; I think possibly the change has been brought about by the reflective shine of the silk.
