"Twas in the month of Maying..." from a madrigal sung at Scarborough Faire, a Renaissance festival in north Texas, some 22 years ago. So May Day seemed a good day to post this knight ready to joust on his destrier, one of the many events reinacted at such a fair. If anyone is interested in attending, Scarborough Faire can be visited through the month of May near Waxahachie, Texas. (Do be prepared with sunscreen, bug balm and rain gear for the extremely variable weather. Doesn't that sound fun??)
