UNICEF Ambassador- Clay Aiken

This is from a screen cap a friend from AW sent to me. It's Clay visiting Afghanistan, as an Ambassador for UNICEF, helping to care for a baby.

Wow! This is so awesome!!! Very nice! ^_^

Artist Reply: Francis, I'm happy you like this render. Gel pen is kind of tricky. Sometimes it looks like a different color than when you use it. Red and orange should make brown, but as you can see, it didn't make that mixture, very well on his hair! Thank you, Francis!!

Wow!!!Fantastic,Stunning!!!Great Pen Art,Carliss!!!:)

Artist Reply: Dee, I wasn't quite sure at all how this would turn out! Thanks for the positive comment!! Funny, somehting I would not have guessed since I mostly do pencil, the top drawing for me here at AW is one of Clay Aiken in black pen and ink w/ a touch of pencil.

cynthia berridge 30 Apr 2007

love it when you use colour Carliss

Artist Reply: Thanks so much, Cynthia! I was just writing to Dee, that the one picture I have drawn with the most hits is Clay Aiken in black pen and ink with a smidgen of pencil. I can't even believe it.

Janet Gioffre Harrington 30 Apr 2007

This turned out better than the "screen shot" Carliss!

Artist Reply: Janet! Thanks again for sending it to me!! It was really light, but great for a gel pen render!!!
