This little gem's name is Gem, but she's also known at work as the Messmer Spaniel. The picture is from a 2005 calendar I had on the wall. Everytime Professor Messmer walked past it, he smiled. "That's such sweet dog!" He'd say. When I had to take it down, he complained so, that I cut the picture off of the calendar, and hug only the picture up so the professor could see it. I named it the Messmer Spaniel, after him. Finally, I had to put Frankenstein up for Halloween, and he is almost 7 feet tall. I covered the picture of the dog up, and the teacher could not take it. I took Frankenstein down after Halloween, and the puppy picture too. Now all I hear is, that sure was a sweet puppy. I decided for the man's next birthday, in March, I will give him a picture I drew of his favorite puppy. It's not finished, but I have lots of time to do it, I hope.
