Like ancient ruins with a rich past to be rediscovered. A trace of life, intelligence, culture.

The 1st thing I saw was a bridge but then I saw a sad face in front of a building with an archway behind to the right. Maybe its more to do with my own feelings right now Annette but this one says to me there's sadness around. The bridge or the archway, which way should I go to find happiness. I love images that provoke deep thoughts & this image does that for me. XX

MMMM interesting --ditto what everybody else says.Wish I could do this sort of work!

I like black and white work Annette because it puts our minds to work. It gives us an undeniable appreciation for the unknown and allows us to escape into any direction we may choose. Work such as this gives us unrestrained visual concepts that only we ourselves could possibly realize. There is no black vs white when viewing work such as this. Excellent!

ilgvars zalans 07 Sep 2007

Bravo for graphic, a presto, zalans

Jo Ripley 17 Jul 2007

who in the world did you study with? I am lost for words and you have no idea how strange that is. It's incredible. I could look at it for hours

Noelle Samples 16 Jul 2007

I love this!! I actually see a women, empty, lost, shrugging a shoulder in acceptance, wandering. A few years back I felt this way; Thank goodness that is a thing of the past. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Funny, I never even noticed any sort of "bridges" theme until reading some of the other comments and your explanation, now I see that too.

Great image, love the tonal quality of the grays.

R.R. Cabarga 14 Apr 2007

This is that kinda stuff I don't understand but I really like anyway. I can never do this because I would get stuck somewhere and start thinking and then I'd lose the muse. So I admire your discipline and vision. Oh yeah, and clarity! ...I like the way the other comments explain it, but I just know it's good.
