The eyes shine out like headlights. It's amazing how the human face can be reduced to a slit and still be the windows to the vast soul. The coloring in the head cloth is also a wonderful combination of blues and purples.
If I were to put into words what this painting says to me, I'd write:
"Peek-a-boo!" LOL, just kidding. I like the expression in her eyes, the rough life she had lived. Great job annette. :o)
