Your gouache work is so strong, Allison. You know we are all two-faced, don't you? There is the public face that tries to mesh with our fellows, and then there is the private one that we come home to. Art lets us co-mingle them, doesn't it? But I know the 'type' you meant as well. ;)
Artist Reply: Thanks Charles, yes we are all two-faced and certain situations can bring out more or less in an individual, two sides to everyone and I guess if things were more straight foward and it didnt exist, then this painting wouldnt of been painted.
Artist Reply: Thank you for your comment, definetly a social statement, just trying to send it out in a positive way (although there is nothing positve about being two faced) by using bright colours.

This one is so in-your-face that you have to love it. Extremely vibrant and quit a modern style to it.Emily Reed 13 Mar 2007

This is stunning, I really like it. So cool to see the two faces one smiley and happy and the other all fierce! You are a talented lady! LeanneAnonymous Guest 13 Mar 2007
