Oh these are cool! I am a huge fan of the Hellboy comics and of the B.P.R.D comics. (The Movies too!) I am not exactky a chibi or manga fan-however these little fellas are adorable. Oh, and as for dear 'Ol Abe and the glove thing. I think the gloves work. Check out the animated versions of Abe. The gloves are the same. This little guy fits that version! Nice work!
A fun characterization! Nice job except Abe Sapien doesn't have a nose and his webbed hands won't allow him to wear those kinds of gloves. Overall a nice job. Watch the shadows, HB's chest is lit while his face is shadowed and AS's head has a shadow from another direction.
