I can't imagine what it is like in snow like this. It makes the cabin so warm, inviting and absolutely essential for life. I've never experienced snow like this...we get some little snatches of snow for a few hours once and a while in Florida...every 10-15 years. This is gorgeous, I especially like the snow laden trees in the background.

Artist Reply: I personally love the snow...it's the beauty and mood it evokes. If it could have been at all realistic, some smoke from the chimneys and nice golden light from the windows would have really made the cabins cozy...but George Washington's troops were the last people to inhabit them.
