A Day At A Beach

This original watercolor painting was created by 8 year old Legacy. Here is a description of the painting in her own words.

"It was a bright, sunny day at the beach. The people weren't at that beach because it was the first day it was open. So all the birds were there on the diving board and flying around. And there was two fishies. They were a boy and a girl. The boy wanted to marry the girl and gave her a blue diamond ring. And then, soon after, they had little babies. Three girls and one boy. The little baby fishies were going to be at the wedding. The end."

This is wonderful, so cheerful and full of love. The story is great. I love that the fishies will be there too.

Hi Legacy, it's Jessy! I am so proud of you and happy that we set up your portfolio. You are such a great artist! I love you! A letter to fellow AW members, This little girl IS real I just didn't want to include her last name online. She's a very special, wonderful child that deserves to share her beautiful perspective with the world. :) Thanks, JT

is this really a work of a child? because I think its not... it lacks something only a child would do with colors...its a bit complex... but.. maybe im wrong... and she's really gifted, this is a nice representation! i'd definitely want to see more works of her!

Artist Reply: Yes it is! Grown ups are in charge of the account, but I promise you she is 8. :) She will be thrilled to read this. Thank you.
