Frauenkirche Dresden

The Frauenkirche in Dresden (Germany) was completely destroyed in February 1945. 60 years after the Second World War the Church was inaugarated. Thanks to donations from all over the world, inlcuding the United States and Great Britain, the beautiful Church could be rebuilt. The citizens of Dresden are extremely proud of this symbol of peace in their once war-ravaged city. I recently had the chance to exhibit some of my artworks there and am overwhelmed by the hospitality of DresdenĀ“s citizens and the breathtaking beauty of their city.
