DEWY GLADIOLAS by Miguel Forbus

DEWDROP GLADIOLAS BY Miguel Forbus THESE GLADIOLAS ARE DEDICATED TO MY THREE LOVELY DAUGHTERS WHO USED TO LOVE TO PLANT ON THE FARM WITH ME AND ESPECIALLY THE FLOWERS. THEY LOVED TO FEED THE EDIBLE ONES (NASTURTIUMS, JOHNNY JUMP-UPS, EDIBLE MARIGOLDS AND BABY PANSYS TO THE UNSUSPECTED OLD FLORIDA CRACKERS. OLD FARM HANDS WHO THOUGHT I WAS A BIT OFF MY FEED GROWING THE THINGS I GREW, HERBS AND FLOWERS AND HEIRLOOM TOMATOES. WE USED TO LAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SWEET CORN AND LISTEN TO IT GROW. I MISS THEM LIKE I MISS MY BREATH. AS I WRITE THIS MY EYES HAVE STOLEN THE DEW FROM THE GLADIOLAS. written by the the Daddy of Cheyenne, Savannah, and Marina. All princesses in my heart.
