This is a painting I did about 20 years
ago. I painted it from a photo my dad
had taken of me when I was about 4 or
5. I am sitting in a duck shaped
"rocker" ... I guess you could call it a
"Rocking Duck." My dad made it out of
a couple sheets of ply and then
painted it a bright yellow.. but then later on
when I "inherited it" from my older
brother and sister it was painted with
a new coating of blue... A Blue Duck
you ask? Well why not? I guess that's
the color paint they had on hand...
Anyway... The photo was a B&W shot,
but I could remember the colors and
the images in detail as if it was just
yesterday...
And yes... I still have the same
scowl...but I think I tend to smile more
these days...(smile)

This is beautiful--and your color selection--NICE! Really quite eye catching and brings out a smile from the viewer. :) I think you just didn't like being interupted while on the duck-ride! Wonderful work! -Kerradimitris voyiazoglou 09 Feb 2007
