I love the way the wings have been done, but that angel is not one of death I am sure of that. The angel seems more of a comfort while the traveller passes through in this scene. Which I feel is your real intention in this piece.

I like this work Anneke though the angel seem caring and benevolent. Perhaps I am confusing the tittle with the infamous Prince of Darkness. Artistically though it is very veyr good and gives me a feeling of warmth and security
