Souls of Guantanamo.

The captured fascists being tortured in Guantanamo and held for unspecified periods at the Pleasure of President Bush is a stain on the flag of every so-called Democratic country in the world. We, who call ourselves civilized should be ashamed.

This is a refreshing bonus on ArtWanted...And you're right, of course; Bush, Dick and Co.LTD , should be answering to such a lot! I'm amazed at their impunity and they way they still prance about speewing their " views" and being so "born again": they are creeps! Anyway, great painting, XXXXX Ana

Artist Reply: Yes, but they will be allowed to live their lives as if they were not criminal murderers. Thanks for looking.

YOU ARE SO INSIGHTFUL AND CORRECT I LOVE THE THOUGHT BEHIND YOUR EXCELLENT WORK

Artist Reply: Thank you Margaret, the law must be observed and justice must be seen to be done. But I think Bush has been hiding behind a shrub in this matter. Thank for your kindly input.

I like the political themes. They are uncommon on artwanted, or perhaps I'm not looking too hard. My only suggestion might be to concentrate on one particular prisoner. As Stalin said, "One man's death is a tragedy, 1000 deaths are just a statistic."

Artist Reply: Thank you David, my difficulty there is that I have no sympathy for any particular terrorist, in many ways they deserve what they get. My point is that we are letting ourselves down by our treatment of them, becoming just like them when we in turn break our own laws to punish them. Thanks for your comment.
