I thought I would try a different technique. This one is done in criss-crossstroke, or rather cross-hatching. Do you prefer the old way I draw, this way, light, or dark? Just curious.
Stunning portrait,I like the top one!!!You are soooooooooo Very Talented,my Friend!!!I prefer your old technique it accents much more fine soft detail!!Your art is Outstanding and you have many Stunning artworks of Clay with either Technique!!!
Artist Reply: Thanks, Dee! Very happy that you've offered your opinion, and I am also very proud to have your support!
like the dark, also like the cross-hatching, but it looks a little less like hatching in the lighter version. It doesn't matter how you do it, Carliss, it's GREAT!

I like the old way you draw and the light . I don't like the criss-crosstroke but what do I know as I am not an artist. Jackie
Artist Reply: Jackie, I'll still draw the old way. Just a little different technique is all. Thanks, though for letting me know!!
